I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with nearly two decades of experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm. My work is grounded in evidence-based psychology and informed by a longstanding personal and professional commitment to mindfulness and self-awareness.
I earned my doctorate from Pacific University in 2011, with a focus on mindfulness-based interventions, and have been licensed since 2013. In addition to clinical training, I contributed to mindfulness research, developed a personal practice spanning more than a decade, and have integrated mindfulness-based approaches into therapy with clients throughout my career.
Alongside individual psychotherapy, I have extensive experience facilitating group therapy, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, chronic pain, stress management, and positive psychology groups. Many of these groups were offered weekly over the course of nearly ten years. This background informs my approach to individual therapy, where I use short-term, evidence-based strategies to reduce distress while maintaining a collaborative, supportive therapeutic environment tailored to each person.
In addition to clinical work, I teach and write about psychological well-being and conscious personal growth. I’ve been a regular guest on ABC/KATU’s AM Northwest, discussing mental health topics in an accessible and practical way, and I continue to share insights through writing and educational projects.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, writing, photography, hiking, meditation, and spending quality time with family and friends.
